I thought this might be useful for little (stupid) things like my bleeding hand etc.
*looks at the wound which opened as she cut the grass* Neat... *needs audience for the great story*

Owh...
*takes a seat on the front row and opens a bag of candy a good time before the speech begins because she knows what happens to people who rustles with bags and papers during a show to the annoyance of others*

*starts feeling a bit restless as nothing happens on stage and pokes Darrell out of boredom* School and exams aren't the only things in the world. There should be plenty of other things you could do, now you're finally off.... OR if you already miss it so much, you could start reading some additional reading for your classes!

*jumps to the stage standing tall for once*
Welcome, welcome, good to have you here! And now for the story... and it's a great story, or not so great, but hey, let's pretend it is! So sit back and relax, and be ready to gasp.
This all happened when we were spending our last night at the camp where I was working, or having fun if you like. We had our show outdoors at a place near the river. We had a fire and an auditorium, and a stage-like place where we performed sketches.
It was a pretty long, generous sketch called 'statue'. I was to play the main role, a thief who pretends to be a statue to escape the police. I had done it once before... It was, and is, my favorite role and I was looking forward to it. And then... *voice drops to a whisper* ...we started it.

*takes a few steps on the stage keeping the eye-contact with the audience, continues with normal voice*
In the beginning of the sketch two police officers chase the thief. They can't catch her, and they loose her when she stops behind a park bench and pretends to be a statue.
Our purpose was to start to run behind the audience, then over the stage and around the audience again. The stage was made of stone slates and behind the audience there was grass, a little higher than the stage. Between the grass and the slates there was a little area -I could set a foot on it, but I have small feet- of gravel. We didn't even think of it when we started.
*sighs dramatically and turns to the audience, moving her hands while speaking* The set was ready and we started to run. We didn't run as fast as we could have, but fast enough to make it look real.
When I came to the side of the audience the ground suddenly got down and there was this tiny gravel area. At the same time I had to bend strongly to the stage. My sandal slipped on the grass- *holds breath and pauses dramatically* ...and the next moment I leaned to my right hand and knee on the gravel.

*looks up at the speaker on stage as the story continues* *wonders if that'd be the end of the story and she is supposed to applaud* *shifts gaze around the audience and decides it must be the time for an intermission before the grand finale*
